Meru National Park

The nature of Meru Park (870 sq. Km.), Located 348 km from the capital, slightly to the east of Mount Kenya, has been preserved almost intact. Hippopotamuses and crocodiles frolic in the river Tana and its tributaries, and almost all large African mammals live in the park. The most favorable period for visiting the park is from December to March.
